At Bursley Academy, we take being Eco-friendly very seriously and are commited to teaching our pupils the importance of caring for the environment through a variety of hands-on activities and initiatives.
Below is the Bursley Academy Climate Action Plan which outlines our strategic approach to reducing our environmental footprint, promoting eco-conscious behaviours, and ensuring that sustainability is embedded in our curriculum, operations and daily practices.
ECO Council
The ECO Council is a body of Bursley students who are encouraged to help with environmental education and action for the school. The Eco Council meets regularly to work together to make a difference by helping to develop responsible citizenship attitudes both at home and in the wider community.
Pupils in the group take key roles in decision making and participation in order to reduce the environmental impact Bursley Academy has on the surround area.
